20-40 hours of team time spread across 1-3 weeks. The requirements matrix is the most time-consuming section (8-15 hours). Having pre-built response libraries for security, compliance, and company overview sections reduces total time by 30-40%.
Should I address competitor weaknesses in the response?+
Never mention competitors by name. Instead, position your differentiators in terms of what matters to this customer. "Our approach eliminates batch processing delays" is stronger than "Unlike Competitor X, we do not rely on batch processing."
